TESTIMONIALS These are some excerpts from emails that i have gotten from my wonderful fans of my work over the years .Going through them to make this page reminds me fully that i have a lot of great people following my work.
Your seemingly infinite creative ability in connecting your mind and the paint brush never ceases to amaze me Words are inadequate to express how talented you are and how powerful your paintings are. You have produced an incredible number of paintings, and they are all filled with much feeling that people respond to, and each painting is truly unique. No one else has ever produced paintings like you do. Not only do I see that, but when I read testimonials and comments from other people, I see that they respond to you and your work like I do, and they, too struggle for words to express it.

"your paintings really resonated with me on a very emotional level" I picked up a few of your pieces back then, all of which are dated from 2002 ("Living on the Darkside", "Panic at AUDOBON PARK", and "Looking up to see you looking down") They've never not hung from my walls since I've owned them. I have a particularly strong connection with Living on the Darkside, which almost feels like a portrait of me at times. I hope to acquire more of your work in the future, so please keep painting!

Falling to the End, 2008 Waiting for the Light, 2007 Strange Pain, 2007 Thank you for your wonderful and thought provoking art.

I think you are an incredible artist and I look forward to being a supporter, fan (and now collector!) of your work for years to come. [Name] ,California The painting arrived last Friday, very well packed by Susan. We invited Chris to come over on Saturday but of course gave him only a vague reason why we needed to see him. When we gave it to him he was speechless. He was so very happy.

I hope that all is well with you, my friend. I absolutely love your new paintings. Like always, as I peruse your website, I can't help but be amazed at all of the wonderful ideas that constantly swarm your mind. Seriously, Marcel. To be prolific is one thing. But, to be prolific like you and create awesome, unique collectible paintings again and again at a nonstop pace is TRULY amazing. I'm not sure how your other fans feel about your work. But, for me, it's mind blowing when I think on it too long. For crying out loud, Marcel, your mind never rests. As I have said before, my friend, because of your art, you have become, "The Man!" And, without it, you would SURELY have been, "The Madman!" : ) Your two new paintings are awesome. Your mind must never stop running. Which makes me think that if you didn't have your art as a form of expression, you would most certainly be a madman!!! Seriously though, please don't ever stop painting. I so look forward with great anticipation to see what new piece of work you create. You're the best. Your new painting is awesome. Really really cool. This is why I am a huge Flisiuk fan. Everyone who comes into my home has an idea of who I am by the art that hangs on my walls. Thank you for being the artist that paints what I can't express. You are The Man.
Dear Marcel, I can't say enough good things about your new paintings. I realize that I keep saying this, but, once again, you are "The Man." Take care, Mark You are always producing awsome paintings. Therefore, I'll just wait until another one that I like comes along. Knowing how prolific you are, I'm sure it won't be too long. Lost In Money is a cool little painting. My son's good friend, Kyle, has become a huge Flisiuk fan. He loves talking to me about your paintings. I would like to buy him something of his own to have Like you said, I hope we can leave a better world for future generations. It's a shame how reckless our leaders have been. BUT, no matter what condition our planet may be in, you will ALWAYS be The Man : ) The painting arrived. As usual, it looks even better in person. I love your two new paintings, "Jammed" and "Jazz Funeral". You just never seem to run out of cool ideas. I know I say this all the time, but you really are The Man. I want to let you know that your newest paintings are amazing. YOU are amazing! I absolutely enjoy every single one of them. I can't believe that you posted ON THE STAIRS!!! You've been sandbagging!!! That painting is so awesome. Although I love all of your work, it is that style that I initially fell in love with. Those simple paintings that say SOOO much. I am on a mission to save up some money so that I can purchase that painting. Things have been a little crazy on my end which is why you haven't heard from me. But things are gradually getting better and I'm getting back on track. Anyhow, I just wanted to drop you a little message to tell you how much I appreciate your work. I mean it Marcel, you truly are The Man

I cannot tell you how happy and proud I am ! I just received the painting ! It took me ages to unpack, and I was shaking ! But what a beautiful surprise ! It is so much more beautiful for real than on internet ! It is magical, I smelled it ! I could admire the fine lines of your drawing, and the brightness of the colours ! It does not make my day, no, it makes my year ! I still dont know where will be his place in the house, I need to see it all the time. So for the moment it is on the table downstair and it will follow me everywhere I go. Tonight I will put a photo on my blog. Again and again Thank you so much, Marcel, it is such an honour ! Mary , England My family really does enjoy your work and have worked hard to share your art with everyone we know. Your style is unique,,the colors so bold and vivid,,I'm not an art critic or educated in painting but I know what I like and I REALLYYYYYYY admire your paintings. Suspicions, the latest one my brother got is so small yet so wonderfully detailed. It's amazing how many things of interest are in each work. I must admit,,I love the orange-headed people the best,,,and the animals. Truth be told,,,I like them all!!!!!!! I was thrilled to get it today!!! It is even more beautiful in person!! The internet picture convinced me that I wanted it,,,but now I can't stop looking at it! [Name] , Mississippi Just wanted to let you know we just looked at the painting you sent and it is amazing. Thank you so much! [Name] , New Orleans I'm trying to get you a bit more attention, so don't be surprised if you start hearing from a few strangers. -) You deserve it. Your work is amazing - I am happy to know you and be able to share your work with others. It is my pleasure - truly. [Name] ,Wisconsin I like the paintings very much and so does my wife. I am really glad you offered me the two smaller ones as well because "Going Deeper" is my daughter's favorite -- she likes the simplicity of it. She really likes the others too -- she calls my bedroom "the Flisiuk museum" and I sometimes threaten to charge her to enter (I have to earn back the cost somehow). Wayne Jortner , Maine For some time now I have meant to look you up. Back in the 80's I had bought a painting from you when you were just a little boy in New Orleans. From the day I brought it home it has been framed and hanging in my kitchen...I believe you called it \"coo coo birds\". I am glad to see that you doing well and have grown to be such a great artists...and are still as cute as the 10 year old boy selling his paintings on the streets of New Orleans. Deborah Healing, Philadelphia I bought "Life guarded by death" as a gift (and major surprise) for my sister, Filippa, who lives in New York. While studying in New Orleans in 2004, she first encountered your work in a little shop in the French Quarter, and immediately fell in love with your paintings. So much so with one titled "Head in the eggs" that she bought it on the spot despite not being able to afford it! It remains her favorite piece of art (which she considers her adopted baby), and you will always remain her favorite artist. I also became an instant fan the moment I saw the painting, and we've both visited your online gallery countless times to admire your mesmerizing work. I haven't enough words to describe our appreciation of your work, which is truly a gift to this world. I'm honored to be in direct contact with you, and hope that someday we may meet. You've brought new energy and light into our lives and we're incredibly grateful for your magnificent work! [Name], Miami
